Leftover or pan-roasted duck over an aromatic five-spice broth with noodles and pak choi.
Quantities scaled from the original (2 servings).

Simmer stock with star anise, five-spice, ginger and garlic, 15 minutes; strain.
Cook noodles and pak choi in the broth 4 minutes; season with soy.
